I haven't read all five pages but I was told my coupe has never been road registered and was purchased specifically for the Gemini Series many moons ago. After some searching, I think it is bulldust.
Bugger !!
Cheers

Of these two cars, the one which Natoli wrote off at Turn 1 on his first flying qualifying lap ever in a Gemini in 2001 is also the white car driven currently by Brett Phillips. After extensive panel beating and replacement of virtually every panel the car is back in action. Good Geminis just never lay down do they?

I'll shed some light on my old car ex- Croston #15 Shule pre concrete wall car after Shule totaled the car in to the wall he did take the cage and i supose the running gear and put it in to an other shell and raced that. i went looking for it at a race meeting it has a very destinctive allloy cage and he also reused the window net that i made at work. here's i interesting bit my car was the ex-searle, ex-harris, ex-emson, ex-wolders and won more chapionships than anyone cares to rember and was one of the oldest cars running and should have been put in a musium ,after i finished racing it i handed it back to Daryl Searle after letting it sit around for a while he sold it to Shule at that stage car #27 but with the wrong logbook he sold it with the logbook from Brads car a car at that stage #28 a car which the Searls built after Daryl wrote a 4 door off at a ATCC meeting in about 95-96 it was a multi coloured 4 door gemi that Daryl wrote off and brad drove that car to many wins and battles with Sean Rose after brad retired from racing they kept brads car for a while and eventuly sold it who i don't know.

I'd love to see some pictures of my car back in its heyday. I think I raced against the Snakemobile a few times - if it was the ex-Terry Morris car from 1993 and before. Can you check out the entries in the log book to confirm?? As you can probably imagine, it was deadset "the works factory team" Gemini if ever there was one!!! It had "The Morgan Vault" signage on it which was one of Terry Morris' companies. A guy called Brett Batterby then brought it and ran it in Beta Tools livery in 1994 and finished 10th in the championship (I finished 9th) ;D It ended up being painted plain white after that for 1995 and had a propensity for stopping on the warm up lap coming over BP at Lakeside (It did this regularly as woodduck will probably remember although I can't remember why). I also recall Batterby heading out for qualifying one time with two or more full 20 Litre drums of fuel in the boot!!! Not sure what happened to it after Batterby owned it, but the QUIT team had pretty much successfully detuned any real speed out of it by this stage, probably due to the fact that Batterby had no cash and "The Doc's" car got most of the attention and QUIT money!! Good to see you've got it back up and flying again old mate!!! I've got some 1994/1995 photos around the place somewhere, I'll see if I can dig them up.

Barry Tanton's 1st gemi coupe the ex-Simes LJ Hooker car Barry deystroyed in a rollover coming out of kaurasell at Lakeside in privite practice as Barry had insuried the car they wrote it off so we took about stripping what was left and reshell it in to a new car that barry raced for the next few years.
The green coupe that yates ended up with was a rolling shell that Daryl Searle bought and had at GSR Motorsport ( the big blue building at Lakeside ) and were going to build in to a car for kermit (Glen Stuart) to use we but it never happened and was sold to yates .it was a good straight shell . at that point in time were evan toying with racing a wagon it was purchased but never built.
Their is one coupe that i would like to know what happened to when GSR was still going at Lakeside Kermit got me to start building a coupe for his son Arny. it was a gold coupe with a full steel cage that i built ( my first cage )i would know it when i saw it the rear legs came up and out to meet the front legs at the main hoop and the main hoop is on mounts at the base.and thats is abou t as far as it got before GSR folded roumer has it it was sold to yates or possibly Wayne Davidson

I think thats the one CD. Heres a list of the owners prior to me: Terry Morris Jan 92-Oct 93 Dr I Corness OCt 93-Aug 95 Brett Batterby Aug 95- May96 Brian Robertson may96-march97 Craig Schmidt march97 only raced once. Ash Jarvis may04-feb05 ME feb 05 to current. Looking at the log book there is about 7 years where the car didn't race any CAMS meetings so who knows what it did in that time before Ash started racing it. I'm also the longest owner of the car too by the look of it and with the work WBR have put into it for this year i don't think i'll be getting rid of it any time soon. If you have some pictures of it I'd love to see them CD.
